Bakuchiol is “a nice place to start” with retinoids, its much gentle on the skin & its extract is derived from the seeds and leaves of the Psoralea corylifolia plant, or babchi, an herb traditionally used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to treat a variety of diseases making it vegan and/or cruelty-free which isn’t always the case for OTC retinol products.
Unlike retinol, Bakuchiol is safe to use during day & night. And can be mixed with Vitamin C, making our product more effective for reducing wrinkles, pigmentation, and texture while protecting cells and keeping them healthy for bright flawless skin.
