What happens during the SilkPeel treatments?
Your skin will be cleansed to remove all makeup and impurities. The exfoliation is done using a cool wand applied directly onto the treatment area and slowly glided across the skin. The layer of dead skin cells is first loosened and then vacuumed via light suction. Afterwards, a mixture of serums will be applied to address your specific skin condition.
How long is the recovery period after receiving SilkPeel treatment?
There is no downtime with the painless SilkPeel procedure. Avoid direct sun exposure for one week. Application of sunscreen after your treatment minimizes potential side effects.
How many treatments are needed to see results?
For visible results of more serious conditions such as hyper pigmentation and acne between three and six treatments are needed. You’ll notice smoother skin, however, after your very first procedure. Treatments are generally scheduled every other week and can be done over your lunch hour. To support a healthy, clear and radiant appearance maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-6 months.
