Thread lift with Happy Lift™

A great alternative for surgical face-lifting, Happy Lift™ is a minimally invasive treatment which rejuvenates without changing the natural features of the face or leaving any scaring on the skin. Happy Lift™ threads are special, absorbable and made out of polylactic acid.

The Happy Lift™ technique is generally safe and helps regenerate sagging facial and neck tissue, while improving skin damaged by excessive sunlight exposure. During the Happy Lift™ treatment, the tiny barbs (or as known as cogs) are inserted into the sub dermis. Upon implantation, these Happy Lift™ threads immediately provide support scaffolding for soft facial tissues and both lifts and holds them in place.

The rejuvenating effect is visible after the procedure. The face becomes smooth, firm and rejuvenated. Happy Lift™ sutures are naturally absorbed by the body after 8-12 months and positive results even can last up years after. The ideal candidates for Happy Lift™ threads are patients aged between 30 to 60 years old who aim to look youthful through less-invasive, non-surgical means. Patients who begin to experience sagging in their face or neck but do not have excessively loose skin or severely dropping areas (that may require a more rigorous facelift) should consider Happy Lift™. It is also important to have relatively good tone.

Happy Lift™ Thread Lift is performed under local anaesthesia. There is little downtime with minimal swelling for 2-3 days. One’s face might feel tight and unnatural but these threads will ease into place within days.

Post Happy Lift™ Treatment care

We advise our patients to stay away from exercising, activities involving pressure and alcohol consumption for the first 24 hours after thread lift. Any direct sunlight or UV light should be avoided during the first week as well.
